EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

DEFINITIONS

"Company", "Promoter", or "us" means Ant Hodges or HodgesNet Ltd.

"Buyer" or "you" means the individual or organization registering for the Seminar or purchasing the Programme.

"Seminar" or "Event" means any workshop, training, seminar, or event conducted by Ant Hodges.

"Programme" means any product, service, or training package offered by Ant Hodges.

"Venue" means any location where a Seminar is held.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering for any Seminar or purchasing any Programme offered by Ant Hodges, you signify your acceptance of and obligation to these terms and conditions. If you object to any of these Terms and Conditions, you should not register for, or attend, the Seminar or purchase the Programme.

BUYER'S CONDUCT

The Promoter requires all Buyers to be respectful and professional to our staff, venue staff, speakers, and other Buyers and their guests throughout the Seminar, including during non-scheduled downtime and breaks.

The Promoter reserves the right to ask any Buyer and/or their guests to leave the event immediately should they be deemed:

  • Rude, uncooperative, or unprofessional
  • Promoting their own business and selling in the room without permission
  • Intoxicated or in possession of alcohol or any illegal substance
  • Disruptive to the learning environment
  • In violation of any Venue policies

In such cases:

  • The Buyer's tuition/fees for the Seminar will not be reimbursed under any circumstances
  • The Buyer will not receive any advertised bonuses
  • The Buyer will not qualify for our satisfaction guarantee or any other written or implied guarantee

DISCLAIMERS

Our Seminars and Programmes are for educational and informational purposes only. As stipulated by law:

  • We make no guarantees that you will achieve any specific results or make any money from our information
  • We offer no professional, legal, therapeutic, or financial advice
  • Our training cannot replace or substitute for the services of certified professionals in any field, including, but not limited to, financial, health, or legal matters
  • We do not purport anything we do or teach as a "get rich scheme"
  • Any financial figures outlined in our training are examples, opinions and illustrations and should not be considered average earnings, exact earnings, or promises for your actual or future performance
  • Past successes or results cannot be used as an indication of your or anyone's future success or results

You should check with your accountant, lawyer, or professional advisor before acting on any information provided during our Seminars or Programmes.

LIABILITY WAIVER

You alone are responsible and accountable for your decisions, actions, and results in life. By registering for our Seminars or Programmes, you agree not to hold us liable for any such decisions, actions, or results, at any time, under any circumstance.

You specifically release the Promoter and our representatives or contractors from liability for:

  • Any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or inability to use, the information or strategies communicated through our Seminars, Programmes, materials, websites, or services
  • Any business losses or personal losses that may result from applying concepts taught
  • Any damages caused by negligence of the Promoter or its representatives (excluding personal injury or death)

Buyer hereby accepts all risk to their business and health that may result from participation in the Seminar and Programme, excluding personal injury or death resulting from the Promoter's negligence.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials provided before, during, and after the Event, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, videos, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Ant Hodges. You may not:

  • Record any portion of the Event without prior written permission
  • Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on these materials
  • Share login credentials or access links for any digital content

PRICE AND PAYMENT

Price

  • All final payments will include VAT at the current statutory rate (currently 20%)
  • Prices may be displayed as "PRICE + VAT" where VAT will be added at checkout, or "PRICE inc VAT" where VAT is included but itemized at checkout

Payment Terms

  • Full payment is required prior to the Event
  • All payments must be received 7 clear business days before attending an Event
  • Acceptable payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other methods specified at checkout
  • Late payments may result in cancellation of your registration without notice

EXCLUSIONS

Events are not residential and do not include accommodation, food, or beverages unless specifically stated in the Event description.

CANCELLATION POLICY

By the Buyer

  • All ticket purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable once registered
  • Under exceptional circumstances (serious illness, bereavement, or other significant personal emergencies), a request to change the date once may be considered by the Promoter at its sole discretion
  • If a date change is agreed upon, it will be subject to a £25 administration fee payable immediately and is subject to availability
  • No refunds will be provided for failure to attend an Event for which you have registered

By the Promoter

The Promoter reserves the right to:

  • Change the Venue to an alternative within a 10-mile radius of the original Venue
  • Reschedule the Event to an alternative date with at least 14 days' notice
  • Modify the Event content, duration, or speakers as necessary
  • Cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances

In the event of cancellation by the Promoter, Buyers will be offered:

  • Transfer to an alternative date
  • A credit for a future Event
  • A full refund of the amount paid

FORCE MAJEURE

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to:

  • Power failure
  • Internet service provider failure
  • Acts of God
  • Epidemic or pandemic
  • Natural disasters
  • War, civil unrest, or terrorism
  • Governmental action
  • Any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question

If affected by such an event, the Promoter will contact the Buyer as soon as reasonably possible to notify them.

ALTERATIONS TO ADVERTISED PACKAGES

  • All advertised tickets and prices are subject to availability
  • Every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised packages
  • Packages may be altered or dates changed either before or after confirmation of booking
  • Where alterations or date changes occur prior to booking confirmation, the Promoter accepts no contractual liability
  • Where alterations or date changes occur after booking confirmation, the Promoter will use reasonable endeavors to make alternative packages available

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special dietary requirements or accessibility needs when notified in advance
  • Notification of such requirements must be made in writing at least 7 days prior to the Event
  • The Promoter takes no responsibility for special dietary or allergic requirements if not notified in advance in writing

NETWORKING AND COMMUNICATION

The Promoter prohibits any unauthorized solicitation or networking activities. Specifically:

  • You may not collect contact details from other attendees without their explicit consent
  • Creating unofficial communication groups or communities from Event attendees is not permitted
  • Direct marketing or sales pitches to other attendees is prohibited
  • All attendee communication should occur through the official HodgesNet app unless mutually agreed by both parties at the Event

Violation may result in immediate removal from the Event with no refund as outlined in the Cancellation Policy.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

By attending the Event, you consent to:

  • Being photographed, filmed, or recorded
  • The use of such content in promotional materials, social media, or educational products
  • If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify the Promoter in writing prior to the Event

DATA PROTECTION

  • The Promoter will collect and store your personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR
  • Your information may be used to process your registration, communicate with you about the Event, and send you information about future Events
  • Your data will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for the delivery of the Event

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
